PHP Web Developer

We are looking for an experienced, innovative web developer to grow our rapidly expanding web development business. You must have a passion for building ground-breaking on-line tools and ideally an interest in mobile technology, you should be motivated, solutions driven and eager to face the challenges that this line of work entails on a day to basis. We always strive to push projects to the next level and we want a new developer to add that special touch of quality, attentiveness and excellence for our clients when making Web That Works. You should be able to give accurate estimations of development times for projects and organize your time to meet project deliverables and deadlines.

If you work as part of our team you’ll love getting down and dirty with API’s and can create a high end spec before transforming it into a thing of virtual beauty. We would like a candidate with strong opinions on open and closed source and somebody that believes in the quality of their work and the way they developed it.

We would like a candidate that is smart and ambitious with a passion for software and new technologies. Subversion should be your best friend and IE6 your worst, you probably love to code in your spare time just for the challenge and some might say you are a perfectionist in your coding ... 

Ideally, you will have at least 2 years industry experience. Junior candidates will have a minimum of 1 or more years industry experience. 

Ideally you will be experienced with: 

• PHP 5 (Object Oriented PHP)
• MVC (Model-View-Controller) experience
• Experience with zend framework or similar would be an advantage
• Javascript
• Jquery or other javascript frameworks/libraries
• HTML 5 and CSS3
• 3rd Party API knowledge and experience would be beneficial
• Basic Photoshop skills
• Tea making skills

Graphic Designer / Web Designer

We need the skills of another exceptionally talented Graphic Designer to be part of our team. Your graphics work must be innovative, modern, and feel like the first time you put on a tailored suit (or dress) at Saville Row. 

Multimedia designers would be perfectly suited but if you think your good enough and have a strong portfolio in similar trade then please let us know. The ideal candidate will be self-sufficient and be able to work well within a team. Ideally you will have an artistic / graphics qualification and will be strong at layout and image alteration. You should be highly talented, creative and enthusiastic about graphic design. In addition you need to be extremely reliable, take direction and instruction well and be able to meet tight deadlines.

Ideally, you will have at least 2 years industry experience. Junior candidates will have a minimum of 1 or more years industry experience. You will be required to work on ALL aspects of conceptualisation, design and production.

The usual software suspects are required so Photoshop and Illustrator experience is a must but any experience with InDesign, Image Ready, Flash, Fireworks or open source alternatives would be handy
